Step 2: Loosen and remove the T25 Torx screws (2) that secure the tube across the top of the engine.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the T30 Torx screws (8) that secure the valve cover to the engine.
Step 4: Disengage the retaining tab, remove the oil cap, and remove the valve cover panel.
NOTE: We recommend replacing all of your coils in the same installation process, as they often begin failing in around the same time. However, when replacing them, do so ONE AT A TIME.
Step 5: Loosen the 10mm mounting bolt (1) that secures the ignition coil to the engine.
Step 6: Disconnect the ignition coil's wiring harness (1).
Step 7: You can now remove the ignition coil from the vehicle.
Step 9: Mount the new ignition coil by tightening the 10mm mounting bolt (1).
Step 10: Repeat this process for the remaining ignition coils.
Step 11: Reattach the valve cover panel by removing the oil cap, engaging the retaining tab, replacing the oil cap, and tightening the T30 Torx screws (8).
Step 12: Tighten the T25 Torx screws (2) that secure the tube across the valve cover.
