Step 2: Pry and remove the triangular trim panel near the side mirror mount.
Step 3: Pry and remove the cover INSIDE the interior door handle. Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1).
Step 4: Pry and remove the cover INSIDE the interior door pull. Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2).
Step 5: Using the window crank removal tool, pry and remove the manual window crank handle.
Step 6: Disengage and remove the retaining pins (2) near the door latch.
To disengage these pins, pry OUT on the CENTER of the clip. You can then remove each one.
Step 7: Pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the panel to the door frame. As you pry outward, you will hear these clips “popâ€. Work your way around the outer edge of the panel to release them all.
Step 8: You can now LIFT and remove the interior door panel.
Step 9: Disengage the retaining clip (1) that secures the locking rod to the back of the interior door panel.
Step 10: To reattach the door panel, re-engage the retaining clip (1) to secure the locking rod to the door panel.
Step 11: Slide the panel OVER the locking lever and into place.
With a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, you can “snap†them all back into position.
Step 12: Tighten the Phillips screws (2), and cover the areas with the covers (2).
Step 13: Reattach the trim panel near the side mirror mount.
Step 14: Reattach the manual window crank handle.
