NOTE: For this installation, we'll be working on the underside of the dashboard, near the PASSENGER'S feet.
Step 1: From beneath the glove compartment, locate the fan speed resistor beside the blower motor assembly.
Step 2: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the underside of the speed resistor.
Step 3: Release the retaining tabs (2) that hold the speed resistor in place.
Step 4: You can now pull the speed resistor from the vehicle.
Step 5: Slide the new fan speed resistor into place. Be sure that the retaining tabs (2) have “grabbed†the resistor, securing it to the vehicle.
Step 6: Connect the wiring harness (1) to the underside of the fan speed resistor.
