Step 1: Using the T-30 bit, remove the two retaining bolts (upper and lower).
Step 2: Gently remove the assembly from the vehicle.
Step 3: Disconnect the electrical plug that provides power from the vehicle to the lighting assembly.
The flathead screwdriver can assist in the disconnection of the plug, as the tab must be pulled upward, freeing the plug.
Step 4: Reconnect the electrical plug.
Be sure that you hear the tab "snap" into place to secure the connection.
Step 5: Gently press the new tail light assembly into place.
Be sure to align the tabs on the outer edge of the light with the small openings in the vehicle's frame. This ensures a secure and proper fit.
Step 6: Using the T-30 bit, secure your new assembly into place by replacing the retaining bolts.
