Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry and remove the round plug, exposing a T25 Torx screw (1). Loosen and remove it.
NOTE: When removing the T25 screw, BE CAREFUL not to drop the screw inside the door panel! If you do, you'll be reading up on our “Door Panel Removal†guide!
Step 3: Pull the exterior door handle out, and remove the small trim panel that covers the keyhole.
Step 4: You can now slide the door handle toward the FRONT of the vehicle and remove it.
Step 5: Slide the door handle into place. Slide it toward the FRONT of the vehicle. You will feel it “snap†into place.
Step 6: Attach the small trim panel over the keyhole.
Step 7: Tighten the T25 Torx screw (1) and cover the screw with the round rubber plug.
