Step 2: Pry and remove the screw cover (1) inside the interior door handle. Loosen and remove the 10mm bolt (1).
Step 3: Pry and lift the power window control panel. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) from the UNDERSIDE of the control panel.
Step 4: Pry and remove the trim that runs the length of the door panel's arm rest. Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2).
Step 5: By pulling outward on the door panel (along the edges), you can “pop†the retaining clips free, separating the door panel from the frame.
Continue this process along the outer edge of the door panel, until it is completely free of the frame.
Step 6: Pry and remove the locking cables (2) from the back of the interior door handle.
Step 7: Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) from the back of the interior door panel.
Step 8: To reattach the interior door panel, re-engage the locking cables (2) and reconnect the wiring harnesses (2).
Step 9: Move the panel into position on the door frame, and using a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, “snap†the panel back onto the door.
Step 10: Tighten the 10mm bolts (3).
Step 11: Reattach the trim panel to the arm rest.
Step 12: Reconnect the wiring harnesses (2) to the underside of the power window control plate. Snap the plate back into place.
Step 13: Reattach the screw cover (1) inside the interior door handle.
