Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw located next to the tail light.
This screw is exposed by opening the trunk.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the thumb-screw that holds the trunk liner in place (over the tail gate mounting area). Pull the trunk liner back to expose the tail light mount.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the thumb-screws (2) that hold the tail light to the vehicle.
Step 5: You can now pull the tail light assembly from the vehicle.
Step 6: Disconnect the tail light's wiring harness.
Step 7: Connect the wiring harness to the new tail light assembly.
Step 8: Mount the tail light by tightening the thumb-screws (2).
Step 9: Cover the area with the trunk liner and secure it by tightening the thumb-screw.
Step 10: Tighten the Phillips mounting screw.
