Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the two retaining pins exposed by the removal of the tail light assembly.
To remove these pins, simply pry on the center of the pin. Once you pull it up, the pin is disengaged and can be removed.
Step 3: You can now remove the tail light.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement tail light from Go-Part.com, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not, simply remove the existing sockets and attach them to the new tail light. This process takes just a few moments!
Step 5: Connect the tail light's wiring harness.
Step 6: Using the guiding tab for reference, insert the tail light into place and secure it by re-engaging the 2 retaining pins.
