2004-2006 Nissan Sentra Front Door Panel (Interior) Replacement Instructions, Install, Change (2005)

Tools required:

10mm socket/ratchet (or Phillips screwdriver)

Flathead screwdriver (small)

Step 1: Open the vehicle's door.

Step 2: Pry and lift the arm rest's upper panel.

Step 3: Pry and remove the window control switch-plate. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) attached to the underside of the panel.

Step 4: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) located behind the armrest trim panels.

NOTE: These screws are also 10mm bolts. If you'd like, you can get a bit more leverage with a 10mm socket/ratchet. Either way works!

Step 5: Disengage the Phillips retaining clip (1) just under the side mirror mount.

By turning the â€œheadâ€ of the clip, you can disengage the clip and remove it.

Step 6: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) near the bottom of the interior door panel.

Step 7: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel.

Step 8: You can now pry and remove the interior door panel.

A series of retaining clips holds the panel to the door frame. You will hear them â€œpopâ€ as they disengage.

Step 9: To reattach the panel, slide the panel into position, and re-engage the retaining clips by â€œsnappingâ€ the panel onto the door frame.

Step 10: Tighten the Phillips screws (3) and re-engage the Phillips retaining pin near the side mirror mount.

Step 11: Reattach the interior door handle's bezel.

Step 12: Reconnect the window control switch-plate's wiring harness (1).

Step 13: Reattach the armrest's trim panel.
