Step 2: Pry and remove the trim panel near the side mirror mount. Disconnect the wiring harness (1), if necessary.
Step 3: Pry and remove the interior door pull's trim panel/bezel. Loosen and remove the T25 Torx screws (2).
Step 4: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the panel to the frame. By sliding the tool along the outer edge of the door panel, you'll feel a clip. When you do, pry outward. It should “pop†as it disengages.
Step 5: You can now LIFT and remove the interior door panel. Disengage the retaining clips (2) to disengage the locking cable. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2).
Step 6: The panel should now be completely free of the vehicle.
Step 7: To reattach the interior door panel, re-engage the retaining clips (2) to secure the locking rod, and reconnect the wiring harnesses (2).
Step 8: Slide the panel OVER the locking lever, and with a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, you can “pop†them back into place.
Step 9: Tighten the T25 Torx screws (2).
Step 10: Reattach the interior door pull's bezel/panel.
Step 11: Reconnect the side mirror mount trim panel's wiring harness (1). Snap this panel back into place.
