Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) inside the interior door pull.
Step 3: Lift and remove the power window control panel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the UNDERSIDE of the panel.
Step 4: Disengage and remove the retaining pins (2) near the DOOR LATCH on the interior door panel.
To disengage these retaining pins, pry out on the center of the pin, and pull it from the panel.
Step 5: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the door panel to the frame. By working your way around the outer edge of the panel, you will feel each clip. When you do, pry outward to “pop†them free.
Step 6: The panel should now be free from the door frame.
Step 7: To reattach the interior door panel, simply reverse the removal process.
Using a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, “pop†them back into place. Connect the wiring harness, and snap the control panel back into place. Also, be sure to re-engage the retaining pins near the DOOR LATCH.
