Step 2: Remove the 4 retaining pins that hold the protective panel covering the mounting area in place. This should be done for each side.
We recommend using a flathead screwdriver to lift and remove them.
Step 3: Remove the pins that hold the center panel that covers the radiator area.
Step 4: With all of the grille's retaining clips removed, lift the retaining tab found behind it, and pull the grille from the vehicle.
Step 5: Lift and remove the pins that are near the headlight assembly. This should be done on each side.
Step 6: Inside the wheel well, pull back the liner to expose a 10mm bolt. Loosen and remove bolt on each side.
Step 7: Pull the bumper cover out to expose the headlight assembly's mounting bolts. Remove the two 10mm bolts behind the bumper cover and the two 10mm bolts on top of the assembly.
Step 8: Beneath the headlight assembly, release the tabs that hold the retaining bracket in place. Pull the bracket from the vehicle.
Step 9: You can now pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 10: Disconnect the headlight's wiring harness.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Part.com, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not, simply remove the sockets/bulbs from the old assembly and attach them to the new one. This process takes just a few moments!
Step 11: Connect the headlight's wiring harness, and mount it into place.
Be sure to re-engage the retaining bracket and tighten the four 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 12: Reattach the bumper cover by tightening all of the retaining bolts.
Step 13: Reattach the vehicle's grille.
Re-engage the retaining pins.
Step 14: Reattach the panels that cover the radiator and grille areas by re-engaging the retaining pins.
