Step 1: Remove the interior door lock panel by gently prying it away from the interior door panel.
Step 2: Gently pry the trim panel that covers the interior of the mirror mount from the door.
Step 3: Remove the door handle trim plate from the interior door panel.
Step 4: Using your pliers, remove the interior door panel clip that is near the hinge.
Step 5: Remove the Torx screw near the door's latching point.
This is exposed by removing the small cover.
Step 6: Remove the two 7mm bolts near the door lock, and the single bolt near the interior handle.
Step 7: Remove the interior door panel by releasing the speaker wiring harness and the 2 mirror wiring harnesses.
Step 8: Disconnect the door light wiring harness to completely free the door panel.
Step 9: Release the clip that secures the door handle rod in place and remove the retaining bolt to remove the interior door handle.
Step 10: Gently peel the plastic water shield away from the door frame. DO NOT tear it!
Step 11: Remove the 3 retaining bolts and 3 clips that hold the wiring harness in place to free the mirror from the door.
Step 12: Attach your new side mirror with the mounting bolts and attach the wiring harness clips to the interior door frame.
Step 13: Re-engage the interior door handle rod and fixture.
Step 14: Reattach the plastic water shield and interior door panel, being sure to reconnect all wiring harnesses.
