Step 2: Locate and remove the five 8mm retaining bolts that secure the headlight and grille into place. You may also want to disengage the retaining clip that secures the grille to the bumper. It is located just to the inside of the headlight assembly.
Loosening the grille bolts allows us to get a bit more flexibility during the installation process.
Step 3: Once the retaining bolts are removed, you can pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harness that attaches to the back of the headlight.
NOTE: If you ordered your new headlight assembly from Go-Part.com, it may include new bulbs (as many of our models do). This can save you steps, and you can move on to installation of the new assembly!
Step 5: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new headlight assembly.
NOTE: If you are replacing your headlight due to damage or wear, you may want to consider replacing the parking light, as well. It will never be easier than it is right now, as the headlight must be removed to access it!
Step 6: Insert the new headlight assembly into the vehicle and secure it into place by tightening the 8mm retaining bolts.
Step 7: Tighten the grille retaining bolts and re-engage the clip that mounts the grille to the bumper.
