Step 2: Remove the Phillips screw that holds the trunk net hook in place.
Step 3: Gently pull back the interior trunk liner.
Step 4: Remove the three 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness that connects to the back of the tail light assembly.
Step 6: You can now remove the tail light assembly from the vehicle.
NOTE: If your new assembly includes bulbs, you won't need to worry about removing the sockets/bulbs from the old assembly. However, if it doesn't, simply twist them counter-clockwise to remove them from the old assembly and attach them to the new one.
Step 7: Tighten the three 10mm retaining bolts to secure the new tail light assembly.
Step 8: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new tail light assembly.
Step 9: Replace the trunk liner to its original position.
Step 10: Tighten the Phillips screw that holds the trunk's retaining net hook in place.
