Step 2: Locate the cabin air filter compartment just above the glove compartment, inside the casing.
Step 3: Release the retaining tabs (2) on the bottom edge of the cabin air filter compartment, and remove the front panel/cover.
Step 4: Pull and remove the cabin air filter (1) from the assembly.
NOTE: Because there isn't much room to work in this space, we recommend using the flathead screwdriver to pry and remove the filter. Don't worry about damaging the filter's edge, as we're replacing it anyway!
Step 5: Insert the new cabin air filter (1) into the assembly.
NOTE: Be sure that the arrow is pointing DOWN on the air filter!
Step 6: Reattach the cabin air filter assembly's door, and re-engage the retaining tabs (2) to secure it.
