Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry and remove the small panel inside the interior door handle.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) that are behind the panel we removed in Step 2.
Step 4: Pry and pull the interior door handle from the door.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the interior door handle.
Step 6: Disengage the clip that holds the locking rod to the interior door handle.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement door handle from Go-Part.com, it likely includes a new power lock switch, as most of our parts are all-inclusive. However, if your particular model does not include the switch, loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2) that hold the switch to the handle and attach it to the new one.
Step 7: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the interior door handle.
Step 8: Re-engage the clip that secures the locking rod to the interior door handle.
Step 9: Mount the interior door handle by tightening the Phillips screws (2).
Step 10: Cover the area by reattaching the small trim panel inside the interior door handle.
