2001-2008 Chrysler, Dodge Caravan, Town and Country Rear Power Vent Window Motor Replacement Instructions, Install, Change (2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007)

Tools required:

10mm socket/ratchet with extension

15mm socket/ratchet with extension

Flathead screwdriver

Pliers

Step 1: Open the vehicle's REAR hatch door.

Step 2: Loosen and remove the 15mm bolt (1) just above the seat belt's mounting point. You can now lower the seat belt harness.

Step 3: Pry and remove the trim that lines the BOTTOM of the door jamb.

Step 4: Pry and remove the trim that lines the TOP of the door jamb.

Step 5: Pry and remove the trim that lines the SIDE of the door jamb.

Step 6: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry and disengage the retaining pin (1) that secures the assembly to the window.

Step 7: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (3) that secure the motor assembly to the vehicle. Disconnect the assembly's wiring harness (1).

Step 8: Connect the wiring harness (1) to the new motor assembly. Secure it to the vehicle by tightening the 10mm bolts (3).

Step 9: Engage the retaining clip (1) to secure the assembly to the window.

Step 10: Reattach the trim panels (3).

Step 11: Secure the seatbelt assembly by tightening the 10mm bolt (1).
