Step 2: Pry and remove the small trim panel that covers the side mirror's mounting area.
Step 3: Pry and remove the screw cover inside the interior door handle, exposing a Phillip screw (1). Loosen and remove this screw.
Step 4: Pry and remove the trim panel on the underside of the window control switch-plate, exposing Phillips screws (2). Loosen and remove these screws.
Step 5: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) attached to the back of the bezel.
Step 6: Disconnect the power window switch-plate's wiring harness (1).
Step 7: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and remove the interior door panel from the vehicle.
A series of retaining clips hold the interior door panel to the vehicle. As you slide your tool between the panel and the frame, you'll feel each clip. When you do, pry outward to disengage it.
Step 8: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel.
Step 9: To reattach the interior door panel, re-engage the retaining clips with a firm “strike†near each clip.
Step 10: Tighten the Phillips screws, reattach the wiring harnesses, and reattach all trim panels to complete the project.
