Step 1: Loosen and remove the 4 Phillips retaining screws that hold the tail light assembly in place.
These screws are located along the outer edge of the tail light assembly.
Step 2: You can now pull the tail light assembly from the vehicle.
Step 3: Disconnect the tail light's wiring harness.
Step 4: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry the small retaining clips that are still in the vehicle' chassis.
These clips are often included with the new tail light assembly. We will have to remove the old ones, as ours will snap into place during installation.
Step 5: Connect the wiring harness to the new tail light assembly.
Step 6: Snap the tail light assembly into place. You will hear the clips "snap" into place.
Step 7: Tighten the 4 Phillips retaining screws to secure the tail light.
