NOTE: For this installation, we'll be working on the UNDERSIDE of the dashboard on the PASSENGER'S side of the vehicle (just below the glove compartment).
Step 1: Loosen and remove the 5/8 nuts (2) that secure the trim panel in place on the UNDERSIDE of the glove compartment.
Step 2: Remove this panel.
Step 3: Disconnect the speed resistor's wiring harness (1).
Step 4: Loosen and remove the 8mm mounting bolts (2) that secure the resistor to the blower motor assembly.
Step 5: You can now remove the resistor from the vehicle.
Step 6: Mount the new fan speed resistor by tightening the 8mm mounting bolts (2).
Step 7: Connect the wiring harness (1) to the new resistor.
Step 8: Reattach the lower trim panel by tightening the 5/8 bolts (2).
