2000-2006 Nissan Sentra Rear Door Panel (Interior) Replacement Instructions, Install, Change (2001 2002 2003 2004 2005)

Tools required:

10mm socket/ratchet (or Phillips screwdriver)

Flathead screwdriver

Step 1: Loosen and remove the Phillips retaining clip (1) near the door latch.

Step 2: Pry and remove the armrest pad trim panel.

Step 3: Pry and remove the power window switch panel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) attached to the underside of the panel.

Step 4: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel.

Step 5: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2) exposed by removing the armrest trim panel.

NOTE: These bolts can also be removed by a Phillips screwdriver. Either tool will work, though a ratchet may give you a bit more leverage.

Step 6: You can now pry, lift, and remove the interior door panel.

A series of retaining clips holds the panel to the door frame. You will hear each clip â€œpopâ€ as it disengages.

Step 7: Reattach the interior door panel by sliding the top of the panel onto the â€œlipâ€.

Step 8: Press on the panel, near the outer edge, to â€œsnapâ€ all of the retaining pins back into place.

Step 9: Reattach the interior door handle's bezel.

Step 10: Tighten the 10mm bolts (2) beneath the armrest.

Step 11: Reconnect the window control panel's wiring harness (1), and reattach it to the door panel.

Step 12: Reattach the armrest trim panel.

Step 13: Re-engage the Phillips retaining clip (1) near the door latch.
