Using the flathead screwdriver, lift the power window control panel and disconnect the wiring harness. Remove the door panel by removing the retaining screws, and using the door panel clip tool to disengage all of the retaining clips that line the outer edge of the panel (a putty knife will do the trick, also). Once you have the door panel free of the frame, disconnect all of the wiring harnesses that are attached to the back of it.
Step 2: Disengage the retaining clip that holds the wiring harness to the door frame.
Step 3: Disconnect the side mirror's wiring harness.
Step 4: List the bottom half of the plastic water shield to gain access to the mirror's mounting point.
Step 5: Remove the three 8mm retaining bolts that secure the side mirror to the door.
NOTE: Be sure that you hold onto the mirror as you remove the final bolt, as you don't want to be cleaning up broken glass from your garage floor or driveway!
Step 6: Mount the new side mirror to the vehicle by feeding the wiring harness through the opening and tightening the three 8mm retaining bolts.
Step 7: Connect the side mirror's wiring harness to the harness coming from the door and attach it to the frame using the clip.
Step 8: Reattach the bottom half of the plastic water shield that covers the mirror's mounting point.
Step 9: Reattach the interior door panel by reversing the removal process.
