Step 1: Remove the two Torx screws in the armrest and two Phillips screws near the top of the interior door panel.
Step 2: Remove the switch plate and remove the two T27 Torx screws exposed by the removal of it. Disconnect the wiring harnesses.
Step 3: Remove the interior door handle trim panel.
Step 4: Using the putty knife and a rag, gently pry the interior door panel away from the vehicle's door frame.
Step 5: With the interior door panel removed, disconnect the wiring harness that powers the side mirror.
Step 6: Loosen and remove the three 10mm retaining bolts that hold the mirror in place.
NOTE: Be sure to hang onto the mirror while you are removing/loosening the last bolt. You don't want to sweep up broken glass from your garage floor!
Step 7: Attach the new mirror and secure it into place by tightening the three 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 8: Connect the wiring harness to the new side mirror.
Step 9: Reattach the interior door panel, making sure to feed all of the wiring harnesses into the right openings. (This makes reconnection much easier, as they can sometimes slide down into the door frame).
Step 10: Tighten all of the Phillips and T27 retaining screws, and put all of the trim panels back in place.
