Step 2: Using the 8mm wrench, disconnect the negative battery cable.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the 10mm (2) and 13mm bolts (2) that secure the coolant tank to the vehicle.
Step 4: You can now lift the coolant tank from its position. You DO NOT need to disconnect the hose!
Step 5: Using the 15mm socket/ratchet, turn the belt tensioner bolt (1) COUNTER CLOCKWISE to release the tension on the belt. Remove the belt from the vehicle, and SLOWLY release the tensioner back to its resting position.
Step 6: Using the serpentine belt routing diagram usually posted near the belt, on the UNDERSIDE of the hood, or in the owner's manual, route the NEW belt around the proper pulleys.
Step 7: Once the belt is in place, turn the 15mm belt tensioner bolt (1) CLOCKWISE to secure the belt's position.
NOTE: The belt should be taut, but not overly tight or stretched!
Step 8: Reattach the coolant tank by tightening the 13mm (2) and 10mm (2) bolts.
Step 9: Reconnect the negative battery cable.
