Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) inside the interior door handle.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the T30 Torx screws (2) inside the interior door pull.
Step 4: Lift and remove the power window control panel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the underside of the panel.
Step 5: Loosen and remove the T30 Torx screws (2) exposed by removing the power window control panel.
Step 6: Pry and remove the trim panel near the BACK of the window.
Step 7: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), slide between the panel and the door frame. As you slide around, you'll feel a retaining clip – when you do, pry outward.
You should hear the pin “pop†as it disengages. Repeat this process around the outer edge of the door.
Step 8: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel from the door frame.
Step 9: To reattach the interior door panel, simply re-engage the retaining clips with a FIRM (but not too firm) strike near each retaining clip.
Use the larger guiding pins (2) to ensure proper placement.
Step 10: From here, simply reverse the removal process.
Reattach the trim panel near the window, tighten the T30 Torx screws (4), reconnect the wiring harnesses and “snap†the power window plate back into place, and finally, reattach the interior door handle's bezel and tighten the Phillips screw.
