Step 2: Remove the small trim panel that covers the mirror's mounting area.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harness that powers the speaker.
Step 4: Using the flathead screwdriver, gently pry on the interior door handle bezel and remove the panel.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness on the back of the interior door handle panel.
Step 6: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the small reflector cover.
Step 7: Remove the Phillips screws located behind the reflector that was just removed, and behind the interior door handle's panel.
Step 8: Using the clip tool (or putty knife), gently pry the interior door panel away from the door frame.
Step 9: Disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the back of the interior door panel.
Step 10: Remove the foam inside the mirror's mounting area.
Step 11: Disconnect the wiring from its retaining clips and disconnect the wiring harness that powers the side mirror.
Step 12: Loosen and remove the three 10mm bolts that hold the mirror to the vehicle.
NOTE: Be sure to hold onto the side mirror while removing these bolts, as you don't want to sweep broken glass from your garage floor or driveway!
Step 13: You can now remove the side mirror.
Step 14: Insert the wiring through the opening in the door frame and mount the side mirror by tightening the three 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 15: Attach the wiring to the door frame using the clips and connect the wiring harness to power the new mirror.
Step 16: Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the interior door panel and begin reattaching the panel to the frame. Be sure to secure all Phillips screws in the process!
Step 17: Reattach the trim panels, interior door handle bezel, and reconnect all wiring harnesses.
Step 18: Don't forget to add the reflector plate to the interior door frame!
