Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, pry and remove the trim panel near the side mirror's mounting area.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the back of this trim panel.
Step 4: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel. Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the back of the bezel.

Step 7: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) inside the interior door handle.
Step 8: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame. You will hear the retaining pins “pop†as they disengage, releasing the panel.
Step 9: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the back of the interior door panel.
Step 10: You can now completely remove the interior door panel.
Step 11: GENTLY peel back the water shield. Be sure not to tear it, as we'll need it later!
You don't need to completely remove the shield. Instead, just peel it back enough to expose the window motor.
Step 12: Disconnect the window motor's wiring harness (1).
Step 13: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (3) that hold the motor to the assembly.
NOTE: You will need to use the SHORT Phillips screwdriver, as the screw heads are on the BACK of the assembly.
Step 14: You can now remove the power window motor from the vehicle.
Step 15: Mount the new power window motor by tightening the Phillips screws (3). Connect the window motor's wiring harness (1).
Step 16: Reattach the water shield.
Step 17: To reattach the interior door panel, connect the wiring harness (1), and mount it to the door frame by re-engaging the retaining pins.
NOTE: Be sure to slide the edge of the interior door panel onto the groove that holds the panel in place. This will make sense once you see the back of the panel!
Step 18: With a firm “strike†(but not too firm!) near each retaining pin, you can snap all of the retaining pins back into place.
Step 19: Tighten the Phillips screws (2) – one near the interior door handle and the other near the reflector mount.
Step 20: Reconnect the wiring harness (1) to the back of the interior door handle's bezel, and “snap†it back into position.
Step 21: Reattach the wiring harness to the back of the trim panel (near the side mirror mount), and “snap†it back into position.
