Step 2: Loosen and remove the 10mm mounting bolts (3) that secure the belt cover to the alternator assembly. Lift and remove the smaller of the two covers.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the 12mm bolt (1) exposed by removing the smaller cover. You can now remove the larger cover.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the 12mm mounting bolt (1) on the PASSENGER'S side of the alternator.
Step 5: Loosen the 12mm belt tensioner bolt (1) located just above the alternator. You can now remove the belt from the vehicle.
Step 6: Route the new belt around the proper pulleys. Once the belt is in place, tighten the 12mm tensioner bolt (1) to secure its position.
NOTE: The belt should be taut, but not overly tight or stretched!
Step 7: With the NEW belt now in place, tighten the 12mm mounting bolt (1).
Step 8: Reattach the larger of the two covers by tightening the 10mm bolt (1).
Step 9: Attach the second cover and tighten the 10mm bolts (2) to secure it.
