Step 1: Remove the panel protecting the mounting components for the side view mirror.
You'll also want to remove the tweeter.
Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, pop the window control panel loose.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harness from the window control panel.
Step 4: Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the 4 screws that hold the panels in place.
You'll find one by the door handle, one beneath the window control panel, one near the front of the door-mounted arm rest, and one near the interior door reflector (near the bottom).
Step 5: Using the putty knife, feed it into the bottom of the panel, where the door meets the panel.
Step 6: Slide the putty knife along until you reach a clip, and detach it.
Repeat this step to detach all of the clips holding the door panel in place.
Step 7: Remove the door panel.
Step 8: Disconnect the wiring switch on the back of the door panel.
Step 9: You can now remove the interior door panel from the vehicle.
Step 10: GENTLY peel back the water shield. Be careful not to tear it, as we'll need to reattach it later!
Step 11: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (2) that secure the window to the regulator track.
Step 12: Lift the window pane up to the fully CLOSED position. Secure it using the tape over the top of the door frame.
Step 13: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (5) that secure the window regulator to the door frame.
Step 14: Disconnect the window regulator motor's wiring harness (1).
Step 15: Loosen and remove the 10mm bolts (3) that hold the protective plate inside the interior door frame.
Step 16: You can now remove the window regulator assembly from the vehicle. Pry and remove any attaching cables that secure the regulator to the door frame. (Varies by model)
Step 17: Insert the new regulator into the door frame. Connect the motor's wiring harness and secure the assembly to the door frame by tightening the 10mm bolts (5).
NOTE: If you have trouble reaching any of the bolts, simply connect the control panel to the wiring harness and raise the regulator out of the way.
Step 18: Slide the window onto the regulator's guiding rail, and secure it by tightening the 10mm bolts (2).
Step 19: Mount the protective plate by tightening the 10mm bolts (3).
Step 20: Reattach the water shield.
Step 21: Reconnect the wiring switch on the back of the door panel.
Step 22: Begin connecting the door panel to the door (top first).
Step 23: Reconnect the small speaker.
Step 24: Snap all of the retaining clips into place.
Double check them to make sure that they are secure.
Step 25: Replace the door handle, and all Phillips screws.
Step 26: Reconnect the window control panel and snap it into place.
