Step 1: Loosen and remove the Phillips retaining screws that are exposed by raising the vehicle's tailgate.
Step 2: Pull the tail light assembly from the vehicle.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the tail light assembly.
Step 4: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new tail light assembly.
Step 5: Move the tail light into place, and secure its position by tightening the two Phillips retaining screws.
