Step 1: Remove the interior panel that covers the mounting bolts for the side mirror.
NOTE: Do not FORCE the panel off, as it is held in place with plastic clips. Apply pressure to remove, but be careful!
Step 2: Carefully remove the foam that lies beneath the plastic panel cover.
Step 3: Disconnect the electrical plug that powers the automatic functions of the side mirror.
Step 4: Remove the 3 mounting bolts using the 10mm socket.
NOTE: When removing the mounting bolts, be sure that you HOLD THE MIRROR from the outside, as it can fall from the door, making quite a mess!
Step 5: Pull the mirror straight out from the door.
Step 6: Clean the area that is now exposed by the missing mirror with a dry cloth.
Step 7: Slide the new mirror into place.
When you are placing the new mirror into place, feed the wire through first, then line up all of the mounting bolt stems. Once everything is aligned, simply push the bolts through the corresponding holes, and hold the mirror in place.
NOTE: When sliding the mirror into place, be sure that the WHITE CLIPS snap into position!
Step 8: Hand tighten all of the mounting bolt nuts into place.
Step 9: Reconnect the wiring harness to provide power from the vehicle to the mirror mechanism.
Step 10: Tighten all of the mounting bolts with the 10mm socket.
Step 11: Replace the foam padding and interior plastic panel.
