Step 1: Lower the tailgate and remove the T27 bolts that secure the liner in place.
There will be 8 in total.
Step 2: Remove the access panel exposed by the removal of the liner.
Step 3: Remove the 10mm bolts that hold the tailgate handle in place.
NOTE: You'll want to lubricate the handle mechanism while you have it exposed, as it helps lengthen the life-expectancy of the component.
Step 4: Remove the tailgate handle.
Step 5: Bolt the new tailgate handle into place.
Step 6: Check that the handle is working properly and replace the access panel and bed liner.
