1998-2003 Dodge Durango Rear Door Panel (Interior) Replacement Instructions, Install, Change (1999 2000 2001 2002)

Tools required:

Phillips screwdriver

Step 1: Pry and remove the trim panel that runs TOP to BOTTOM on the rear of the door's window.

Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) exposed by removing this trim panel.

Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (4) that secure the door panel to the vehicle.

One is located inside the interior door handle, one is inside the interior door pull, and two are located along the bottom edge of the panel.

Step 4: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel.

Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness (1) from the back of the interior door panel.

Step 6: Disengage the locking rod (1) from the back of the interior door panel by unlocking the retaining clip.

Step 7: To reattach the door panel, reconnect the wiring harness (1) and re-engage the locking rod (1).

Step 8: Slide the door panel over the lip and onto the door frame.

Step 9: Tighten the Phillips screws (5).

Step 10: Reattach the window's trim panel.
