Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (5) that secure the door panel to the door frame.
These screws are located as follows: (2) on the bottom edge of the door panel, (1) inside the interior door pull, (1) inside the interior door handle, and (1) near the side mirror mount.
Step 3: Lift and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) from the back of the interior door panel.
Step 5: Disengage the locking rod attached to the back of the interior door frame.
Step 6: You can now fully remove the interior door panel from the door frame.
Step 7: To reattach the interior door panel, re-engage the locking rod to the back of the panel, and reattach the wiring harnesses (2).
Step 8: Slide the interior door panel over the locking lever, and secure it to the door frame by tightening the Phillips screws (5).
