Step 2: Turn and remove the two retaining clips that hold the panel covering the radiator in place. Pull the panel from the vehicle.
Step 3: Lift and remove the two retaining clips that hold the headlight assembly in place.
These clips are located near the wiring harness plugs.
Step 4: You can now pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness on the back of the assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Part.com, it likely includes new sockets and bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, in case your particular model does not include new bulbs, simply turn the retaining ring counter-clockwise and pull the bulb/socket from the old assembly and insert it into the new one.
Step 6: Adjust the alignment pins on the back of the new headlight assembly to match the length of those on the old assembly.
This step ensures that your headlight is properly aligned when driving.
Step 7: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new headlight assembly and mount it by re-engaging the two retaining clips.
Step 8: Reattach the protective cover by re-engaging the two mounting clips.
