Step 1: Remove the triangular trim panel that covers the mirror's mounting point from the interior.
This panel will just "pop" off.
Step 2: Remove the pin just beneath the side mirror.
Step 3: Remove the Phillips screws that are behind the small protective tabs in the interior door handle and in the arm rest.
Step 4: Remove the window control panel, and disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the underside of it.
Step 5: Remove the trim panel surrounding the interior door handle and disconnect the wiring harness behind it.
When removing it, you will need to disengage the clip behind it.
Step 6: Disengage the clips that run along the outside of the interior door panel (you won't see them), and remove the interior door panel. You may need to disconnect more wiring harnesses for the interior door light.
Step 7: Disconnect the wiring harness that powers the wide mirror, and disengage the clip that holds the wiring to the door.
Step 8: Remove the 8mm retaining bolts that hold the mirror in place.
NOTE: Be sure to hold onto the mirror as you are removing the bolts, as you don't want to be cleaning glass from your garage floor!
Step 9: Remove the side mirror.
Step 10: Mount the new mirror to the side of the vehicle by tightening the three 8mm retaining bolts.
Step 11: Connect the mirror's wiring harness and attach the wiring to the door frame using the clip.
Step 12: Connect the wiring harnesses to the back of the interior door panel, and begin reattaching it.
NOTE: Be sure that you have all of the wiring harnesses connected properly before installing the interior door panel!
