Step 2: Pry and open the screw cover (1) inside the interior door pull. Loosen and remove the T25 Torx screw (1).
Step 3: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel.
Step 4: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the panel to the door frame. By sliding the tool along, you'll feel each pin. When you do, pry outward. It should “pop†when it disengages.
Step 5: You can now remove the interior door panel.
Step 6: Disconnect the wiring harnesses (2) from the back of the interior door panel.
Step 7: To reattach the door panel, reconnect the wiring harnesses (2), and move the panel into position.
Step 8: With a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, you should be able to “snap†them back into place, securing the panel to the door frame.
Step 9: Reattach the interior door handle's bezel.
Step 10: Tighten the T25 Torx screw (1), and reattach the screw cover (1).
