Step 2: Loosen and remove the 7mm retaining bolt that holds the coolant tank in place. Push it back to give you some extra room to work. Detach the hose running from it, as well.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harness attached to the radiator's cooling fan. Pull the wiring from the radiator fans, detaching the retaining clips that hold the wiring bundle in place.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the two 8mm bolts that hold the cooling fan assembly in place.
Step 5: Lift and remove the cooling fan assembly.
This may take some maneuvering as the space is limited! But, by pushing the assembly back from the radiator and lowering the left side of the assembly, you should be able to pull it from the vehicle relatively easily.
Step 6: Slide the new cooling fan into position, and secure it by tightening the two 8mm retaining bolts.
Use the guiding tab attached to the radiator (near the bottom of the fan assembly) to ensure proper placement and installation.
Step 7: Reattaching the wiring bundle to the radiator fans using the retaining clips and connect the fan's wiring harness.
Step 8: Tighten the 7mm bolt that holds the coolant tank in place.
Be sure to reattach the hose that runs from the coolant tank!
