Step 2: Gently remove the gasket that protects the lighting assembly from the hood/radiator grille contact point.
Step 3: Locate and remove the T10 Torx screw that is in between the headlight assembly and parking light.
It is near the bottom of the assembly (from the front).
Step 4: You can now remove the parking light assembly from the front of the vehicle.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harnesses to fully release the parking assembly.
NOTE: If you are replacing the headlight assembly due to front end damage or wear, it may be a great time to replace the parking light, as well. After all, you already have it disengaged from the vehicle!
Step 6: Locate and remove the three 10mm retaining bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place. Gently remove the retaining pin to the upper-outside of the headlight assembly.
Step 7: You can now pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
Step 8: Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the headlight assembly.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Part.com, it likely has new bulbs included with the assembly (as most of our models do). If so, you can move right to installation, saving you steps!
Step 9: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new headlight assembly and move it into position.
To ensure that your headlight is properly aligned, lengthen (or shorten) the alignment post on the back of the assembly until it matches the length of the old assembly's alignment post.
Step 10: Secure the headlight by tightening the 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 11: Reattach the parking light.
Step 12: Reattach the rubber gasket that rests between the grille's contact point and the headlight assembly.
