Step 2: Remove the 5 Phillips retaining screws that hold the interior door panel to the door frame.
Two are located near the bottom, one is inside the door pull, one is inside the interior door frame, and the final one is located near the side mirror.
Step 3: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel from the door frame.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the back of the interior door panel.
Step 5: Disengage the door handle rod by lifting and separating it from the back of the interior door handle.
Step 6: You can now fully remove the interior door panel.
Step 7: Disconnect the side mirror's wiring harness.
Step 8: Loosen and remove the three 10mm mounting bolts that hold the side mirror to the door.
NOTE: Be sure to hold onto the side mirror as you are removing the mounting bolts. You don't want to sweep broken glass from the garage floor or driveway!
Step 9: Pull the foam insulator from the wiring, and remove the side mirror.
Step 10: Feed the wiring through the door frame, attach the foam insulator, and mount the mirror by tightening the three 10mm mounting bolts.
Step 11: Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the back of the interior door panel.
Step 12: Re-engage the door handle rod by attaching it to the mechanism on the back of the door panel.
Step 13: Reattach the door panel to the door frame.
Step 14: Secure the door frame by tightening the 5 Phillips retaining screws.
