Step 2: Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the retaining clip that is located just above the headlight assembly.
By lifting the center of the clip, you can remove the tab, releasing the parking light assembly.
Step 3: Use a towel to protect the glass, and use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry the parking light from the vehicle.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harness on the back of the parking light assembly. You can now completely remove the parking light assembly.
Step 5: Disconnect the wiring harness on the back of the headlight assembly.
Step 6: Loosen and remove the two 10mm retaining bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
One is located on top of the headlight, and the other was exposed by the removal of the parking light.
Step 7: Using a flathead screwdriver, gently pry the headlight assembly from the mounting point closest to the radiator.
You can also remove the 10mm bolt that holds this entire connection point in place, though this is optional.
Step 8: You can now pull the headlight assembly from the vehicle.
NOTE: If you ordered your replacement headlight from Go-Part.com, it likely includes new bulbs, as most of our models do. This saves you an installation step! However, if your particular model does not include new bulbs, simply remove the bulbs from the old headlight and insert them into the new one! This process only takes a few moments.
Adjust the alignment stud on the back of the headlight to ensure proper illumination while driving. You can simply lengthen or shorten the one connected to the new headlight to match the length of the old one. If your new headlight doesn't have an adjustor on it, even better! You can simply use the one that is currently "dialed in" for your old headlight assembly.
Step 9: Mount the headlight to the vehicle by securing the retaining clip near the radiator and tightening the two 10mm mounting bolts.
Step 10: Connect the wiring harness to the back of the new headlight assembly.
Step 11: Reconnect the parking light's wiring harness and secure it in place by re-engaging the retaining clip.
