Step 2: Locate the belt routing diagram located near the radiator, near the belt pulleys, or in the owner's manual.
Step 3: Using the 3/8 drive ratchet, insert the square peg into the belt tensioner and turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE to release the tension on the serpentine belt. You can now remove the belt from the vehicle.
Step 4: Using the diagram we located in Step 2, route the new serpentine belt around the proper pulleys.
Step 5: Once the serpentine belt is in place, use the 3/8 drive ratchet handle to turn the tensioner CLOCKWISE. This will tighten the belt, securing its position around the pulleys.
NOTE: The belt should be taut, but not overly tight or stretched!
