How do you Change, Replace, or Install 1996-2007 Ford Taurus Third Brake Light Bulb Replacement

Tools required:

None

Step 1: Open the vehicle's trunk.

Step 2: Pry and remove the retaining pin that holds the trunk liner to the bottom side of the 3rd brake light.

Step 3: With the bulbs/sockets exposed, simply pull each socket down from its position, and replace the bulbs.

Step 4: Once the bulbs have been replaced, you can reattach the trunk liner by re-engaging the retaining pin.
