Step 2: Pry and remove the power window switch. Disconnect the wiring harness (1).
Step 3: Pry, lift, and remove the arm rest pad. Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (2).
Step 4: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) inside the interior door handle. Remove the interior door handle. Disengage the retaining clip (1) to free the handle from the vehicle.
Step 5: Disengage and remove the retaining pin (1) near the LATCH side of the door.
Step 6: Disengage and remove the retaining pin (1) near the HINGE side of the door.
NOTE: To disengage these pins, simply depress the center, and pull the pin from the panel.
Step 7: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the door panel to the frame. By working your way around the outer edge of the panel, you can feel each clip. When you do, pry outward. Continue this until the panel is separated from the door frame.
Step 8: To reattach the interior door panel, simply move the panel into position, and using a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining clip, “snap†them back into place.
Step 9: Re-engage the clip on the back of the interior door handle, and reattach it to the door.
Step 10: Tighten the Phillips screws (3).
Step 11: Reconnect the wiring harness to the UNDERSIDE of the power window panel, and snap the panel back into place.
Step 12: Re-engage the retaining pin (1) near the LATCH side of the door panel.
