Step 2: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) that is just below the mirror (in the hinge area).
Step 3: Remove the exterior trim panel at the base of the side mirror.
Step 4: From outside the vehicle, loosen and remove the T30 Torx screws (2) exposed by removing the exterior trim panel.
NOTE: Don't let them slip down inside the panel, otherwise you'll be looking up our tutorial on removing the side panel!
Step 5: Loosen and remove the T30 Torx screw (1) just to the inside of the side mirror.
NOTE: Be sure to hold onto the side mirror while removing this screw, as you don't want to sweep broken glass from your garage floor or driveway!
Step 6: Pull the mirror from the vehicle, and disconnect the wiring harness.
NOTE: On some Caravan models, the wiring harness may be only accessible from INSIDE the vehicle. If you pull your side mirror off, and do not see the wiring harness, simply pry and remove the panel that runs vertically beside your windshield (interior). This should expose the wiring harness connection.
Step 7: Connect the side mirror's wiring harness and secure the mirror to the vehicle by tightening the T30 Torx screw (1).
Step 8: Tighten the T30 screws (2) on the underside of the side mirror (from the exterior).
Step 9: Reattach the small external trim panel (below the mirror) by tightening the Phillips screw (1).
