Step 2: Pry and lift the power window control switch. Disconnect the wiring harnesses (4) attached to the UNDERSIDE of the panel.
You may need to use 2 flathead screwdrivers on one or two of the harnesses, as they have multiple retaining tabs.
Step 3: Loosen and remove the Phillips screw (1) inside the interior door handle.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the 7mm bolts (2) beneath the interior door pull.
Step 5: Using the door panel clip tool (or putty knife), pry and separate the interior door panel from the door frame.
A series of retaining clips secures the panel to the door frame. By working your way around the outer edge of the interior door panel, you'll feel each clip. When you do, pry outward to disengage it. You should hear them “pop†as they release.
Step 6: Pry and remove the interior door handle's bezel.
Step 7: You can now LIFT and remove the interior door panel.
Step 8: To reattach the interior door panel, simply reverse the removal process.
LIFT and slide the panel onto the door frame. With a FIRM, but not too firm, strike near each retaining pin, you can “pop†them back into place. Reattach the door handle bezel. Also, be sure to tighten the 7mm bolts (2) and Phillips screw (1), as well as reconnect the wiring harnesses. Finish the installation off by sliding the power window control panel back into place.
