Step 1: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the small, triangular trim panel that covers the side mirror's mounting point.
Use the screwdriver as a lever to gently pry the panel free of the vehicle.
Step 2: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the interior door handle bezel.
Step 3: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the power window switch-panel.
Step 4: Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the back of the window switch panel.
Step 5: Remove the 3 circular screw covers on the interior door panel.
Two of these covers are located near the door hinge, while the other is located near the door pull.
Step 6: Remove the small screw cover near the door catch.
Step 7: Remove the 8 Phillips screws that hold the interior door panel in place.
You will find 4 lining the bottom of the panel, 2 near the door hinge, 1 behind the switch panel, and 1 near the door's arm-rest.
Step 8: You can now lift and remove the interior door panel from the door frame.
Step 9: Disconnect the interior door light's wiring harness.
Step 10: Disconnect the side mirror's wiring harness.
It is located in the door frame near the speaker.
Step 11: Release the clip that holds the wiring to the door frame.
Step 12: Loosen and remove the three 10mm mounting bolts that secure the side mirror to the door.
NOTE: Be sure to hold onto the mirror as you loosen the last bolt, as you don't want to sweep broken glass from your garage floor or driveway!
Step 13: Mount the new side mirror to the vehicle by feeding the wiring through its respective opening and tightening the three 10mm retaining bolts.
Step 14: Connect the mirror's wiring harness to the vehicle and attach it to the door frame using the retaining clip.
Step 15: Begin reattaching the interior door panel by reconnecting the wiring harnesses, tightening the 8 Phillips screws, and replacing the plugs that cover the screws.
Step 16: Reattach the trim panels and window switch plate.
Be sure that you reconnect the switch-plate's wiring harness!
