NOTE: In this installation, we will be removing the headlight assembly to reach the side marker light mount. If you are replacing your side marker light due to damage or wear, it may be a good idea to replace the headlight, as well. After all, it will never be easier to do so than right now!
Step 1: Using the flathead screwdriver, lift and remove the clips that line the plastic panel covering the radiator area. Remove the panel.
Step 2: Loosen and remove the two 13mm retaining bolts that hold the headlight in place.
These bolts are located on top of the headlight assembly.
Step 3: You can now lift and remove the headlight assembly.
Step 4: Disconnect the headlight's wiring harness.
Step 5: Reaching into the area exposed by removing the headlight, disconnect the side marker light's wiring harness.
Step 6: Loosen and remove the two 7mm retaining bolts that hold the side marker light in place. Disconnect the turn signal wiring harness, as well (just below the marker light).
Step 7: You can now remove the side marker light assembly.
Step 8: By pushing from outside the assembly, you can now push it through the chassis, and remove the assembly.
Step 9: Mount the new side marker light assembly by tightening the two 7mm mounting bolts.
Step 10: Reconnect the wiring harnesses for the side marker and turn signal lights.
Step 11: Reattach the headlight assembly by reconnecting its wiring harness, and tightening the two 13mm mounting bolts. Use the guiding tab to ensure proper placement.
Step 12: Re-engage the retaining clips that hold the radiator panel in place.
