Step 1: Remove the trim panel that covers the mirror's mounting point.
The trim panel is located on the interior of the door. Gently pull on it, and it should pop right off.
Step 2: Using the socket/ratchet with extension, begin removing the 8mm retaining bolts that hold the mirror in place.
NOTE: Be sure to hold your mirror as you are removing the final bolt, as the mirror may begin to fall away from the door!
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harness that supplies the mirror with power.
Step 4: Connect the wiring harness to your new side mirror.
Step 5: Secure the mirror in place by tightening the three retaining bolts.
Step 6: Reattach the trim panel that covers the mirror's mounting point.
